Identrus Appoints Mack Hicks as Chief Technology Officer, Expanding Executive Team
Industry Veteran to Spearhead Expansion of Identrus Product Capabilities to Aid Company's Continued Growth
Identrus™, a global provider of trusted identity solutions, today announced that Mack Hicks has joined Identrus as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Hicks is a recognized industry expert with more than 30 years of experience in information security, public key infrastructure (PKI) and systems architecture, holding key influential roles with the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) and BITS, a non-profit industry consortium to foster electronic financial services. He will be responsible for expanding Identrus' capabilities, including the policy, legal, operational and technical components of the Identrus solution.

Hicks joins Identrus from Bank of America where he was Senior Vice President of Corporate Information Security, focused on emerging technologies and standards for information security. Hicks was responsible for information security, risk management, policies and procedures for the bank•s smart card-based digital certificate and authentication business. He also served as an internal specialist addressing web threats such as e-mail phishing and Web site spoofing. Hicks worked closely with Identrus as the Bank of America representative involved in creating the common identity management platform for global banks. In that capacity, he made significant contributions to the company, co-authoring multiple Identrus business patents in authentication.
